Greed
It was fall in the woods.
It was dark and Neowul who was able to see well at night went to the woods alone.
He began to gather acorns.
Neowul gathered a whole bag full of acorns.
Then, he buried it in a secret place that only he knew and went home.
The nest day, the other animals came to gather acorns. However, no matter how much they looked, there weren't any acorns.
Huh? That's strange. Why aren'y there any acorns?
Somebody probably took them all.
There were a lot of them yesterday.
Huh? Then what will we eat all winter?
Hee hee hee.
The animals went deep into the woods, but they could only find a few acorns.
Why is he so happy?
I'll be back tomorrow, acorns!
Why is he so happy?
Oh! What's this?
Neowul hid all these acorns.
The next day, Neowul went to his secret hiding place.
Huh?
Oh, My acorns. Somebody stole them!
My acorns!
Neowul! What's wrong? Are you hurt?
Don't cry. It's alright, you have us.
I'm sorry. I was bad. I was really bad.
What do you mean? Why were you bad?
Actually, I gathered all the acorns last night and buried them here.
Oh, what? You gathered all the acorns at night?
Then, where are they?
Well, I buried them here, but somebody stole them.
Hm, I see.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
This isn't the time to stand around like this. Let's look for the acorns.
Yeah! Everybody come here.
The animals made a plan.
Beginning the next day, Neowul danced everyday on the spot where the acorns were buried.
And said.
My treasures, see you tomorrow!
It was the third day and the fox saw him.
Hi, Neowul! Huh?
What are you dancing and singing about?
Well, I gathered a bunch of acorns and hid them in a secret place. And...
I gathered a bunch more yesterday.
wow, you're so lucky. You have so much to eat... oh, I have to gat going.
Yeah?
oh ho...
He'll probably bury them in the same place.
But, if he finds out his acorns are gone, he probably won't hide them there.
Hm... That's not good.
I'd better bury them before Neowul comes back.
Oh! It was you! You stole the acorns.
Huh? No! I didn't steal anything.
The proof is right there.
Oh, uh... How embarrassing.
Ha ha ha ha.
