Long, long ago, there lived Handong and Kkwedol who were mischievous.
They were so mischievous, they were scolded by their teacher.
"Stay here and read all night."
Handong and Kkwedol had to read all night.
"I'm so bored. Our teacher so mean for making us read all the time.
"Kkwedol, let's go catch a rabbit."
"Yeah."
The two went out to catch a rabbit.
It was night and the two cooked the rabbit and ate it.
Suddenly, They heard a strange sound.
The children looked around and were surprised.
There was a huge tiger right in front of them.
It had smelled the rabbit.
Handong and Kkwedol were scared.
"We can get out of this situation if we think hard. I have a good idea."
Handong whispered something to Kkwedol.
The two continued eat the rabbit as if nothing had happened.
"Oh, yummy, this is so good."
"Yeah. I'm full now. Should I throw it away?"
"Yeah, I'm too full I can't eat anymore."
The tiger was happy and drooled at the thought.
The two children threw the rabbit toward the tiger.
The tiger swallowed it up.
Handong and Kkwedol threw rabbit meat several times and then they threw a stone they had heated up.
The tiger thought it was meat also ate that up.
A little while later, the tiger jumped up and down and rolled about making loud noises.
Terrified Handong and Kkwedol hugged each other.
In the morning, the villagers who couldn't sleep because of the tiger went to the mountain in search of the children.
The villagers heard about how Handong and Kkwedol had given a hot stone to the tiger and how they had trembled all night because they were scared.
The adult were impressed by the children's wisdom.
Neverthless Handong and Kkwedol were spanked for disobeying their teacher.
