In a kindergarten learned two little girls.
Ary and Bora are they.
One day 'My grandfather has green fingers,' said Ary to Bora. Bora was astonished. She had never seen anyone with green fingers.
Once, Ary's grandfather came to bring her from the kindergarten, but it was a cold day and he wore gloves, so bora couldn't see those strange green fingers.
Then it was became spring, once that spring day, Bora invited Ary to have tea time with her and her grandfather. Bora was excited.
Grandfather wouldn't wear his gloves indoors.
Now, she'd see those green fingers.
Bora hurried into the living-room. There was Ary's grandfather. Bora looked at his hands. 'Oh!' She cried. 'Ary said you had green fingers, but your fingers aren't green at all.' Ary's grandfather chuckled. 'When Ary said I had green fingers she meant I was a jolly good gardener, my dear.
'Ohhh!' sighed Bora. 'Is that all?'
Ary's grandfather took Bora into the garden where daffodils bloomed like a sea lf yellow waves.
'I hope you're not too disappointed,' he smiled.
'No,' Bora smiled back. 'I expect it would feel very odd if you really did have green fingers.' And Grandfather picked a big bunch of daffodils for Bora to take home.
The grandfather's fingers are not green, but Bora's fine because it is so.
